At the heart of the valve is the electric actuator, which allows for remote control and automation. This actuator operates on a specific voltage, such as 24V or 110V, and can be controlled using different signals like ON/OFF or modulating signals. The actuator is equipped with limit switches and position indicators for ease of use and monitoring. Additionally, a manual override feature provides flexibility in case of power outages or emergencies.
This valve is constructed from CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride), a material known for its excellent chemical resistance, comparable to that of PVC. What sets CPVC apart is its ability to handle hot corrosive liquids with ease, making it ideal for service temperatures up to 180°F (82°C) for long-term applications, and 110°C (230°F) for temporary conditions.
